Dear partner in crime,

Thank you for your company.
It was a trip of blessing in disguise.the good weather, and the flight back although most of the flights were cancelled, the experience we always had with taxi drivers and transportation drivers what not,the preparation for Muifa, the trishaw ride, the shopping ,the food.

So so sorry for what happened back at the gardens,i guess the hot weather got into me,and i was so so short tempered and anything caused me to flare up.I guess i have to improve on that.what made me learned more was that you just laughed your way through and ignored everything that has happened.to tell u honestly,i think this is the first time anyone had done that...i was taken back, and i thank you for that.Shame on me for not apologizing to you on that day and doing it right here right now.

i know that i have my flaws, and i thank you for putting up with it.this may sound dramatic but i kinda learn a bit more about myself from this trip.seriously.

Yours truly.

the week is finally here.i am going back this thursday.and yet for another wedding.the wedding of someone who is so so dear to me,and had such a big influence in my life.this is my second time going back for a week plus to attend a wedding and i hated the aftermath of it.last year, i remember i was dead homesick after i came back to japan.one week is certainly not enough at all.plus all the high tension from seeing all long lost relatives and friends.
this time,i guess its the same.just that not so many ppl will be coming back for the one in msia though.the main thing is both ah yee and 2nd bro will be leaving msia after this.so i wont get to see both of them after im back for good.back for good..that sounded nice???after all these years here,im finally going back for good.what next u ask.there is that one month of soul searching to do.after that starts the real deal.im actually very very sick of ppl telling me what i should do and what i should not.ive heard and receive lots of 'advices' so called, asking me to stay here and get a job and dont go back to msia ..bla bla.the next one closest to it is to go and get a job and migrate to aussie.ive said a million times.its easier said than done.do u actually understand why i wanna go back to msia and not stay in japan?put aside the 'i dont really like japan' factor.there are actually other reasons to it that i havent really told anyone and i dont intend to either.ive prayed about it and have made up my mind.the Lord will show me his way and he will lead me to the right path.if it's his will for me to stay in Japan, who knows,i might get a job with a Japanese co.and might come back here again.but all that aside.the main thing is i am going back.where to after that is another story.period.
my one week back home is gonna be very pack.there is the passport renewing ,have to do my china visa and my int.driving license, not forgetting i have to find a dress for the wedding, and the wedding gift, have to pick relatives up at the airport, and of course help with the preparations.hope i have time to meet up with friends in between.its the week after the conference and i hope there are ministries that week.ive longed to hear an english ministry and maybe meet up with some peeps that i havent see for a long long time.
more to be written and said but for now i am over excited just to go back and hug everyone.including my little ah pek at home.
sighs..this 2 weeks is gonna be a very very emotional one.at least for me.i am just so thankful to get to go back and attend the wedding.

had my first english class with 5-9 years old japanese kids.
what can i say??totally different when i was with sunday school kids,
when the kids came in,they were like wondering who is this person here instead of their usual teacher, but the kids and me became great friends after that..lol,felt a bit intimidated with their mothers watching us,but soon ignored them as time went by.

nanami came in first, she warmed up to me quite fast i must say,a bit shy at first but after doing high fives and talking to her,she was ok,next came in aju??and a-something (shoot!!i forgot their names),and of course, they were shocked too to see a new person standing there instead of their usual teacher..but after doing the same things i did with nanami, they too warmed up to me,ariasha was next..mix japs and brazillian i think, the oldest, and then ayaka..the shy one..toshiya the only boy was absent today.

the kids were still a bit shy so i had them sit around a circle and did some simple warm up exercises(by this time i was exhausted from just all the greeting..lol) had them clap their hands, shake them.,jump,etc...when i made sure they were warmed up we sang the hello song...just learned in on the net and was glad they had the song in the center...the kids were a bit reluctant a bit cause they dont know the song, but after going through it with them once, they got used to it with the actions and all..

next,i taught them body parts,eyes,ears,hands..etc...once i made sure they knew their parts we did the hokey pokey song,a bit relieved they learned the song b4..ariasha was not so active compared to the others..worried me a bit,but as Usha said we can cater to each and everyones feelings..just make sure they enjoy themselves..which im sure they did..i hope

after that we went to our sits and showed them flashcards of animals, made sounds and asked them to guess ..and then placed the cards on the floor and had them pick out the card which i ask them to find...in between thought them how to say thank you, here you are and welcome...

was running out of ideas...had the kids pass a ball and had them asking questions like how are you when they pass the ball and i'm great!! when they received it...this continues with other several phrases ...

Usha helped out by suggesting them to throw the ball and say out any english word they know, they kinda liked that as we went faster and faster...then we had them say their sundays till mondays...and ended the class with goodbyes.

i.was.exhausted.this is my first time teaching kids in this way and it was tiring.i did find out about esl and methods of teaching kids on the internet but reading them on the internet and actually doing them out is very very different...the activities that are done passed by more quickly than what i had expected..so i was constantly thinking what to do next..etc.

tried to talk in english most of the time but i guess it was a bit impossible for them,so i just stressed on the english words and sentences i wanted them to know, not sure if i have the energy to do this again but the kids were adorable.need lots and lots of preperation for this kinda stuff man...teaching kids and entertaining them is harder than it looks..
