cruising...(part 1)

muahahaha!!!yup..this was where i was leaving the pass 5 days..SUPERSTAR GEMINI. traveled to langkawi first.then kerabi island (thai) then phuket and finally penang...what a cruise peeps!!


and the cruising starts.....
this's my cabin,it's a four ppl cabin,, they have foldable beds(on the top)hehe..no money so cant afford a cabin with any portholes or windows..this one was good though...that's my dad on the right and my uncle from canada who decided to join us..

now to introduce to u the ship...(dint take most of the places though)
this is the patio of one of the places we had our food,there are two places..this one(mariners buffet) where everything is in buffet style so u can take watever u want and the ocean's palace,where u must dress formally if u wanna dine in there..everything is serve to u in there,u have to order from a menu..


did i mention that the food is GLORIOUSLY good??!!seriously!!im glad it was only a week...if this cruise goes on..who knows wat wud become of me....i already gain shamefully 2 kgs...had the time once to go to the gym ..manage to burn about 100 calories...but according to the gym instructor 100 cals=a steak??(if im right)and man...how many steaks ive eaten and i only managed to burn 100 cals..haha..go figure..

this was by the poolside..(we had dinner there on the first night we boarded)pool wasn't really that big..they had two jacuzzi by the side..

ooolala~manage to take a photo of my appetizer...they serve this kinda food at ocean palace..

most of the crew are international workers..mostly from phillipines,they have workers form myanmar,india,china,indonesia,vietnam..etc..all asian though..no malays on board as they do serve pork on the ship..about 90% were australians,about 9?10?families who are chinese...very few..were the minority..

and imagine...ppl thought we were from china!!!what the???i mean...i know la i got mata sepet and all but ppl from china are so much fairer...seriously...do i really look like an ah moi from some place in china???get real!!!

langkawi...our first destination(from port klang)..

we came to langkawi before..so it's useless to visit the same old places again..just went shopping for chocs..and manage to sit on the cable car..it was heavenly!!!the view!!

on the way up in the cable car..with my crazy uncle..(keeps on insisting that canada is better than m'sia)ask me to migrate there one day..haha...i wish!!!

they have 2 stops..and that's the bridge that is so freaking cool!!!!gave me the chills when i walked on that...love the view!!next destination...kerabi island!!!this is near phuket...u have to travel there on a smaller ship...if u wanna go there u have to take the cruise..and of course pay for it...everything is in singapore dollar on the ship..beautiful no???the rock.. the signboards which ell u your evacuation route if another tsunami attacks..had some swimming and sun tanning..not to forget some boobs watching..serious!!the kwai lohs here are not ashamed to just walk showing off their boobs just like that..saggy or not..haha.. from old to young..another thing they differ from us chinese is that they love sun bathing..at the hottest hour of the day they willingly spread their body on the sand(if the chinese see them..first impression..siow arh??wanna get skin cancer??)...i did that too,sunbathing..trying to change the fact that i look like someone from china..been lying there for like 3 hours??the results..??my same colour skin..hardly a tan i got.too much suntan lotion i put kana??gosh..i just have to accept the fact that no matter how much or how long i sunbath...my skin will remain pale,huhu...help!!!

we sailed of to phuket at night...on tour again this time we went to patong beach..we experienced the night life there..man that place is like soddom and gomorah!!u can see a lot of foreign man walking with thai sluts..that place is crazy man...petaling street 10x..accept that the ppl there haggle with calculators..we haggle with our mouth..for ex.u wanna buy something..u ask how much...they tell u a ridiculously crazy figure...u drop your jaw..say no and pretend to leave..then that's when they hand u the calculator..as u key in ure price...from there the price haggling starts..each pressing the figures u want until u get the satisfied price...the thai ppl are good in their cantonese too...kept speaking to us in canton as once again they thought we were from china...what's this with china la..??!!!check out this shirt!!!this place was where the tsunami happened...the tour guide was boasting of the fact that they manage to recover so fast just after 2 years of disaster..true..the night life there...u have pubs and prostitutes on both sides..this place is pack with foreignersanother hit in patong beach..the thai boxing..check this out..they actually have photocopies of the newspapers around the world!!!

ive decided that im not planning to go back to the place ever again...just not my type...scenic places..ah...that one i will go...that's in the nxt blog...
