"once a banana always a banana"

sigh...i dunno y but ive been hearing this phrase a lot lately,first time was during the golden week in tokyo..one supa(dunno how many times) senpai,andrew said it to me...fine....
2nd time...was it fong zyin that said it??and ive been hearing them again yesterday from another friend...

wat's this man???im tired of saying this but my chinese IMPROVED a lot...i admit i was once a banana..but now...im a half ripe one already!!!ask mayc,she was shocked to hear me speak mandarin "fluently" that day...right mayc???

i cant help it if i was brought up from a home that hardly speaks mandarin..my dad is a mandarin banana himself...and i went to a methodist sch...

i thought i was going to escape this 'banana thingy" when i came here..looks like no difference...
ive been called one since high sch..continue on to ppktj and now in japan...sigh...cant run away...

my mandarin's not perfect but at least i improved a lot ...(i think drop a lil' since came here)but that's not the point..the point is "WO DE HUA YI JING PU HEN DUO LIOW"!!!!

stop calling me a banana!!!!if u still want to...i insist on a half ripe one...lol ..
hmm..i guess a half ripe banana is still a banana...ah well....suit yourself...
