niigata from nagaoka is about one hour plus by normal train..but..it took us only 20 minuets...the senpai from china decided we had no time to waste and voted to take the shinkansen(bullet train)...lol....we had no choice but to agree with her..it was more a lil by a few hundred yen anyway...
all the time my impression for bullet train is for long long distances..like to tokyo or osaka area..yup...and for saving time too...but to niigata???i had a good laugh just thinking back about it....shinkansen to niigata????haha...
anyway,lalala...feast your eyes on these!!!!!!!
pik yee,me and xi wen(i call her wu jie)from china
our eyes were blinded by just looking at all the grapes that we decided to go for budur tabehodai(buffet)...
i guess very very few ppl do these cos we were the only ones there with a table under the grapes...
most ppl just go,choose and snap of their chosen bunch and go and feast on them...
it's much cheeper cos one bunch of grapes is 500 yen...but for the buffet it's 1100...
and believe me after just ONE bunch...we were already sick of it!!:)
but wujie said we HAD to experience it once...the experience of sitting under the grapes and plucking them....lol..and so that's what we did!!
the place for ppl who want to eat their selected chopped off grapes...
for the 3 crazy girls who couldn't get enough of grapes we sat right in the middle of the farm...
i think i had one and a half of bunch of those grapes....
they were too sweet..so ...the more we ate them the more we got sick of it...lol....(but im still craving for some now)
these jap kindy kids are really lucky to have these kind of trips ...
around 3 or 4 kindergarten classes were there..
the various types of grapes they had...i call this one the lady finger grape.....hee....
the super sweet grape...our buffet was these grapes...they were HUGE!!
this one...i dunno how to name it but it has this different tatse..something....hmm..sweet but not that sweet..gah....dunno how to explain...
and the greem grapes are THE BEST!!!!!seriously...they gave us some free for sampling...IT WAS SUPERBLY DELICIOUS!!!....and expensive...of course..
kiwis......
