Thanksgiving list 2007

it's that time of the year..
where it's just a few weeks more to a brand new year..
a few weeks more to a festive season...
a few weeks more to winter holidays...
a few weeks more where new resolutions will be made..

gonna miss thanksgiving for year 2007 this year in church...it'll be my first time missing it???add to the fact that this year's thanksgiving will be held at the new hall in Klang...

anyways,
i have lots to be thankful for this year.

so here goes my thanksgiving list for 2007. (all in random order,just type what comes to my mind)

1. im thankful that i am a child of God. born and raised by godly parents..given proper education and exposed to the word of God at such a young age..to be a testimony to all..


2. thankful that i have the Lord as my Saviour,my friend,and the one that i turn to every time in any situation.


3. thankful that the people close to be are all healthy and well.


4. for the very minor things that i tend to take for granted every time,for shelter and provision.


5. for the opportunity to further my studies here in Japan.although i know i complain a lot on how i hate engineering,yet deep down,i am very grateful to be given this chance to be in a totally different atmosphere.


6. for the fact that i came to a place where the saints of God can be found..where the gospel is being preached,and where the correct truth is being practiced.


7. to be given such warm hospitality and concern by the saints here.


8. to be able to learn a new language.


9. that im actually studying right now and not wondering off on the streets doing nothing and wasting my life away...that im not addicted to drugs or whatsoever.


10. to be given a full scholarship saving a fortune for my parents.


11. to be surrounded by wonderful wonderful friends and family.


12. thankful that i have enough money to travel around Japan for holidays and to be able to go back to Malaysia for the holidays.


13. being loved.


14. i have friends to talk with,to share my joys and sorrows with..to joke with.to gossip with.


15. that i can keep in touch with my parents everyday.


16. that people actually do miss me..i hope :)


17. that i can be there for some when they need me.


18. for seniors and friends and teachers who guide me everyday with my studies and my life here in this foreign land.


19. that i experienced another of God's miracles..snow


20. to learn a different culture.


21. that a sister is willing to take me to and fro to church every week.


22. im safe and sound and nothing bad has happened..


23. that im not swayed away or influenced by the world.


24. that i have a heater in my room during this freezing cold weather.


25. i have a pillow under my head every time i go to sleep.


26. for friends who still keep in contact with me though i hardly keep in touch with anyone..


27. for my brothers who both have good jobs and that my parents have done their job wonderfully raising their kids and that they can now sit back and relax.


28. that the new hall is now done in Klang and there will be some baptisms there soon...(i really wish i could be there to congratulate them)


29. that more and more people are attending meetings in kk.


30. that 2 unbelievers regularly attends the meetings here and shows concern.


31. that i have a room to myself. :P
32. that my tutor and i get along well.


33. that i can access to the Internet everyday...which is actually a bad thing cause im addicted to it..anyway..it's good coz i can contact with my family.
34. that there's a piano here that i can bang my fingers on any time.

yes,i certainly do have a lot to thank God for this year..it's been an amazing year..and a truly blessed one.

i can't think of anything else right now..but im sure the list will go on and on..if i don't stop here.
